Caiala World Music Presents – For the first time in Miami since 2006, multi Grammy Award Nominee, KINKY, live in concert at South Florida’s legendary Latin nightclub La Covacha on Saturday April 6, 2013.This ever-hot electric five-member band from Monterrey, Mexico formed in 1998 consists of Gilberto Cerezo, Ulises Lozano, Carlos Chairez, Omar Góngora, and Cesar Pliego. Their music, heavily influenced by various Latin rhythms, rock, dance, and techno, is undoubtedly some of the best electronica/alternative rock music to ever emerge from south of the border.

This concert comes to Miami following their latest and very successful album release Sueño De La Maquina which received the nomination for Best Alternative Music Album along with Best Alternative Song (Negro Día) at the 2012 Latin Grammy Awards. . The group has received multiple award nominations since it’s inception including 9 Latin MTV Video Music Awards, 5 in 2002 and 4 more in 2007, and a total of 3 from the Latin Grammy Recording Academy.

With a vision of bringing this unique sound to one of the most diverse cities in the world, Miami, Caiala World Music chose what is recognized as the first international nightclub in South Florida to successfully blend the best of all Latin cultures under one roof for a one of a kind nightlife experience.
